I enjoy this photo because the ice is making everything unclear and confused. The hole in the middle of the ice clears everything up to show the beauty of the mountain range and lake behind. The blues in the shot are very vibrant and contrast very well against the dull colors on the mountains. I also enjoy how this picture shows its surroundings from a very close distance to a very far in the distance. When I look at this I feel very cold, and blinded. I feel as if the sun is blinding bright. This shot also covers a lot of area/distance which to me seems impressive, given that only a small space is clearly visible. Ultimately, this photo jumped out to me because I think the angle the photo was taken from is unique and very creative.

ReplyDeleteCool picture! When I first looked at it I thought it was just ice and I wondered what was behind it. Then I notice that there was an opening in the ice and was mystified by what was beyond the ice. It is a unique shot and I wonder how they found this spot to shoot pictures. The picture is taken at an interesting angle. Nice find!
